In a galaxy not so far away, I recently put together a Disney bound that celebrates the iconic Ahsoka Tano. The legendary Star Wars character’s portrayal in both The Mandalorian and her self-titled series brought her intriguing journey out of animation and into live-action for the first time, thanks to the collective genius of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.
Fun fact — if you know me in real life, it takes about five minutes to learn that I consider Filoni the savior of the Star Wars universe.
Specifically inspired by Ahsoka’s appearance during her now-iconic meeting with Grogu on the forested planet of Corvus, I curated this outfit to capture her look when she and Din Djarin first crossed paths. A black jumpsuit, reminiscent of her Mandalorian-era attire served as the basis for this look. I accessorized with a cinching belt that resembles the one worn by the Clone Wars character in The Mandalorian Season 2.
But my favorite part of this Disney bound was the swirled blue and white headscarf. It pays homage to Ahsoka’s distinctive lekku, a symbol of her Togruta heritage.
To complete this Star Wars-inspired bound, I brought my own Grogu — Ahsoka’s story wouldn’t be complete without the tiny Jedi.
This Ahsoka Disney bound was a reminder of the incredible stories woven into the Star Wars saga, and of all the tales yet to be told in a galaxy far, far away.
May the Force be with you!
