I’m excited to share one of our recent Disney bounding adventures, inspired by the Italian setting of Pixar’s Luca. As a family, we dove into the characters of the movie and brought them to life with these fun outfits. The girls had been wanting to wear their sequin outfits for weeks, and we finally decided they were perfect for Luca and Alberto (in sea monster form!)
Their blue and purple sequin dresses with ruffle shoulders paid a sparkling tribute to the underwater allure of the film. We loved how these outfits allowed us to recreate the magic of Luca in our own way, while adding a touch of our own style — that’s what Disney bounding is all about, after all!
I took on the look of Guilia Malcovado with wide-leg jeans, a striped red and white sweater, and a blue knit fisherman cap, a nod to Guilia’s vivacious spirit and her connection to the sea.
Our Luca Disney bounds were a great way to pay homage to one of our favorite recent Pixar movies. It’s amazing how Disney bounding can bridge the gap between fiction and reality, and we can’t wait for our next adventure into the cinematic world of fashion.
